Retired SWAT officer Curtis Reeves acquitted in Florida movie theater shooting
A Florida jury on Friday vindicated a resigned police SWAT commandant of homicide for lethally shooting an individual moviegoer during a contention over cellphone use.
Thoughts in the preliminary started Friday and the six-man jury returned its decision late that evening, media sources revealed.
Retired Tampa police Captain Curtis Reeves, now 79, had been charged with second-degree murder for killing Chad Oulson during an altercation
"He was such a huge amount above me thus loaded with rage... that he planned to hit me with all the strength that he could assemble,"
Reeves and different observers affirmed that Oulson took Reeves' pack of popcorn and tossed it at the 71-year-elderly person.
