Queen Elizabeth tests positive COVID-19

LONDON - Britain's Queen Elizabeth II has tried positive for Covid-19, Buckingham Palace said in an explanation Sunday.

The queen, 95, "is encountering gentle cold-like side effects yet hopes to proceed with light obligations at Windsor over the approaching week," the assertion said.

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” it added.

Elizabeth's son Prince Charles also tested positive for a second time less than two weeks ago.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wished Queen Elizabeth a quick recovery.

“Buckingham Palace confirm that the queen has today tested positive for COVID,” the statement said.
